How does working multiple jobs relate to job quality and how does it impact worker wellbeing?

The MOONLIGHT project studies the quality of work and wellbeing of contemporary multiple jobholders and covers seven advanced economies and uses innovative methods, including a dynamic assessment app.

UNDERSTANDING THE QUALITY AND CONSEQUENCES OF WORKING MULTIPLE JOBS
Research team Moonlight

Meet the MOONLIGHT team members!

A project of this magnitude requires more than one person to accomplish.

The core team consists of the principal investigator, a postdoctoral researcher, two PhD researchers, and three research assistants. Additionally, the support of a broader supervisory team and advisory board is crucial to the success of the core team’s efforts. You can learn more about everyone involved in our ‘People’ section.

How can we classify multiple jobholders in terms of quality of work and worker wellbeing? Who are doing ‘bad jobs’? And how do organisations influence the quality of work and wellbeing of multiple jobholders?

Articles, book chapters and other publications that results from the project will be regularly updated in our ‘outputs’ section. As the project progresses, we will also launch a blog series that showcases findings from the MOONLIGHT project and highlights contributions from other researchers in this field.

The MOONLIGHT research programme is organised along four project lines. Want to know more about the different projects? Click for more information on the corresponding button.
